SAID ABUBAKER Ahmed aka Makaburi, the man said to be behind last
week's Mombasa riots, has turned himself at the Mombasa Law Courts.
Mr Ahmed was accompanied by a lawyer after a warrant arrest was issued against him last week.
He is expected to answer to charges of incitement of violence.
Police claim Mr Ahmed was behind last week's riots in the coastal city that left three prison warders dead and scores injured.
